NMC’s New Draft Regulations For Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs),
The national medical commission has a draft on foreign medical graduation, graduates will have to qualify for the NEXT Exam within 2 years after the implementation of NEXT which expected by 2022
Important points: after draft implementation, it means candidates will get only 2 attempt or 4 attempts and will have to qualify within this period
Next consist of two parts
- Is for the additional paper to assess the knowledge of pre and Para clinical subjects
- Those who complete the 11 and 12 from India and medical degree from abroad must have passed the 11 and 12 from the recognized board within eligible marks with subjects Physics chemistry biology English and biotechnology and also must qualify the NEET for medical admission abroad
- Those who complete the 11,12 board and medical degree from abroad they must have completed at least first year of graduation in science with subject physics chemistry and biology
These candidates must also complete at least 54 months of UG medical training with a 12-month rotary internship in the same country where the medical degree awarded these must have done in English
