CURRICULUM FOR 300-HOUR MULTI-STYLE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
The 300 hour Yoga TTC in Goa is specifically designed for intermediate and advanced-level students, who have successfully completed a 300-hour Yoga teacher training course (at Goa Yogashala or anywhere else). After the successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to register yourself with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500 yoga teacher.
During this course, you will not only learn to enhance your skills but also improve your confidence.
Throughout the course, you will gain an in-depth study of Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga asanas, advanced Pranayama and meditation techniques, advanced yogic philosophies, and advanced adjustment, and alignment techniques. Additionally, you will learn about the modern scientific perspectives of neuroscience, psychology, physiology, and anatomy.

What to expect out of your 300-hour Multistyle Yoga Teacher Training?
One of the most authentic 300-hour Multistyle yoga teacher training in India, our course is specifically designed for those practitioners and yoga professionals who have completed their 300-hour Multistyle yoga teacher training and are ready to take their practice to the next level. The teachings and practices during this training are obviously more enhanced and advanced than the previous level, meaning that it will require you to invest double the amount of energy and dedication to successfully complete the course.
You are expected to maintain 100% attendance during the course to make the most out of your training. Keep in mind that the 300-hour course helps you enhance your teaching practices and knowledge of the business of yoga, two facets that are highly important if you plan on pursuing yoga as a career.
Week 1:
During the first week of your 300-hour training, you will learn and practice advance Hatha intermediate sequences, including Suryanamaskara and Chandranamaskara as well as several core exercises. You will also learn the advanced series of joints and glands exercises, Shankprashalana Asana Series for Cleaning Abdomen, as well as various asanas as mentioned by Patanjali.
Additionally, you would also learn more about working as a yoga teacher by conducting teaching classes in pairs as well as small groups, as supervised by your yoga teacher. Throughout these classes, you will be given several tasks by your mentor and be expected to showcase your learnings and instruction-giving abilities for when you conduct your own yoga sessions as a teacher.

Week 2:
Welcome to week 2 of your 300-hour Multistyle yoga teacher training. The second week is your opportunity to dig deeper into the practices of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. During this week, you will learn how to master the primary series of Ashtanga yoga. You will also learn how to practice Suryanamaskara based on Ashtanga yoga and continue to practice the Hatha Chandranamaskara sequence.
Also, you will learn several standing asana postures such as Veerbhadrasana (A, B, C), Natrajasana, Baka Dhyanasana, Dhanurasana, Parighasana, and many more. Additionally, you will learn many inverted asanas including but not limited to Sarvangasana, Sirshasana verations, Pincha mayurasana, Handstand and Halasana. You will also be familiarised with seated sequence postures & finishing Sequence postures. We would also inculcate teaching methodologies during these practices for you to gage how to instruct and teach these postures when you are teaching your own class.
At Goa Yogshala, our main priority is to ensure that all our students undertake their practices with proper safety measures. This is why we lay huge importance on proper alignment and adjustment while performing every posture. Also, our yoga teachers’ pay careful attention to every student to help them perform asanas in ways that are most comfortable as per their body type and dexterity.
Last but not the least, you will learn to improve your teaching skills as well as your anatomy and physiology knowledge.
Week 3:
Much like week 2, week 3 would also emphasize on various standing as well as inverted asana postures. You would also improve your training in dynamic Vinyasa flow. During this week, you will pay a lot of attention to traditional aspects of practice and teachings such as breathing, bandhas, and Drishti. There will be a lot of focus on teaching methodology and all of you will be asked to practice teaching by felicitating mock teaching sessions in small groups.
Throughout the week, you would learn to master several Ashtanga Postures, immerse more in Pranayama practices by training in yogic breathing, abdominal breathing, thoracic breathing, Kapalbhati pranayama, Mantra chanting, mudras and bandhas, and more.
Furthermore, you will learn a lot about the various relaxation techniques involved in Yoga Nidra. Some of the subjects covered under this section include but aren’t limited to full-body relaxation, Therapeutic applications of yoga postures and how to avoid injury in class, Effects of pranayama in the respiratory system, and chakras.
Week 4:
Bravo! You have reached the last and the final stage of your 300-hour Multistyle yoga teacher training course. You are just one week away from completing and qualifying as a Yoga Alliance approved RYT 500 yoga teacher, which will enable you to train yoga students from all over the world. This week is mostly dedicated to revising everything that you have learned in the past three weeks and successfully completing all the required practical and theoretical assessments that will help your mentors understand your level of understanding and practice.
Additionally, you will be asked to conduct training sessions that would enable your teacher to understand your knowledge of teaching methodology and help you in situations that may require their extra assistance. Your teachers would pay special attention to teaching demonstrations, understanding of the human anatomy, comprehension of adjustment and alignment practices, etc.
Last but not the least, during the week, your yoga teacher will also evaluate your lesson planning skills, time management abilities, step-by-step structural planning, and your understanding of the various principles of demonstrating, observation, assisting, correcting
